  We were in Athens for a basketball tournament and had some time between games and decided to give it a shot. All I can say is thank you for the delay because this is some of the best Mexican food I have ever eaten! The barbacoa and al pastor tacos are amazing! The queso Blanco was delicious and had a nice little spicy kick at the end. Too bad this place is so far away from where I live. Highly recommended!!!

  New location. Great meat. Very good chile rellenos, but were cold in the middle. The most authentic Mexican food I have had in years. The only real downside is that they do not serve guacamole and sour cream with their fajitas.

  Don Armando's is a family friendly Mexican restaurant with good food, friendly service. Armando and his wife Stacey provide a great atmosphere and home cooked dishes prepared fresh for your table. Very reasonable prices.

  Excellent. Best Tamales I've ever had, but they're not on the menu. This isn't your run-of-the mill, cookie cutter Mexican food. This place is a treat.
  
  UPDATE:
  The tamales I had last time were divine. They were hot, moist, soft, and tasted wonderful with chicken and green chili sauce on the inside and covered in cheese sauce on the outside. Seriously, after the first bite I took the heavens opened up and a choir of angels decended to sing blissful harmonies around my plate. They were so amazing that my boyfriend was impressed just looking at them and made up his mind then and there we were coming back and he would have tamales next time.
  
  The tamales I had tonight were disgusting. They were hard, dry, tepid, one with red sauce, one with green, and I had to send them back to the kitchen to get cheese sauce. I only ate a few bites, and my dinner date ate even less and was equally disgusted by his tamales. A steaming pile of poop would've been more impressive because at least it would've been hot. I am so incredibly disappointed by this epic fail on a plate.
  
  I had to reduce my rating from five stars to one, because such a drastic variance in quality, especially for the exact same meal, should neve be a concern.
